Santa Rosa Junior College is a fully accredited California Community College and all SRJC CTE programs award a certificate upon completion.
Programs with 18 or more units of coursework prepare students for employment in a specific field and offer a CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT - most can be completed in 1 (one) or 2 (two) years. The Certificate of Achievement is intended to officially declare a student’s readiness to enter the career(s) associated with the certificate.
SRJC also offers a selection of SKILLS CERTIFICATES generally requiring fewer than 18 units of coursework. The Skills Certificates are designed to offer students a brief but intensive course of study preparing them for an entry-level job or for career advancement in a chosen field.
Some programs or course require PREREQUISITES (classes that must be completed prior to enrolling). Please check for prerequisites or advisories by searching a specific certificate or a specific course outline. Some programs also offer majors, giving the students the option to earn an ASSOCIATE DEGREE by completing the general education requirements. Students have the option to prepare to transfer a four-year college or university. See a counselor for more information.
Santa Rosa Junior College makes learning AFFORDABLE with low fees and generous financial aid packages, federal assistance, and grants and scholarships that help you pay for college and makes quality training and college education attainable.
